Happy New Year 2009!

It came in the a bang...went to a party at a neighbors...took the kids and they made it up till 12:00...Ben was out by 12:04!! We will shine in 2009

A great Christmas...even though my tree wouldn't stay lit...won't bore you with the details but I am looking for a nice, small, prelit fake tree for next year!

The Tale of the White Sunglasses

When Chris got his Porsche he bought himself a new pair of sunglasses...a pair of white ones. They aren't bad...but when your sunglasses match your car it can be a bit much. Now, if you know Chris like I do, it is not easy to make fun of him without the wrath of Chris coming back your way x10...well, Christmas Eve came around and we all had some drinks and there was a crowd and I guess the pictures tell the rest of the story...I don't think he will be wearing the glasses again in the car

Ace of Cakes I'm Not

Food Network is one of my favorite channels...my favorites shows are the cake challenges and "Ace of Cakes"...these shows get my creative juices flowing...make me think I can make beautiful cakes too...I've come to the realization here in 2009 that I am not a cake master and need to take a class or two...I suck, here are just a few of my creations to prove it


The soccer cake that didn't cook right, so I had to "carve it"...I tried to make flames...Chris thought it was a soccerball on top of the world...the boys thought it looked "strange"...tasted pretty bad too

Dinosaur Volcano cake...from far away it wasn't so bad, luckily it was for a bunch of 7 year olds
