The BIG nine!

Holy Smokes! Jack Christopher Beeman is entering his last year in single digits! Sunday, April 6th he turned 9! We had a swim party with A LOT of boys. We now know we can fit 10 kids comfortably in the spa with another 15 in the pool...WOW!!

Check out the cake...not perfect but better than my gingerbread house attempts!

Doing the water balloon sling shot...I now have scars from tying hundreds of balloons that last just a few seconds!

The gaggle of boys...I have no idea who gave him what present

Random Pictures

So, I was trying to take a cute picture of the dogs...which I did, but then the boys wanted me to take some random pictures of them doing a scene in which I can't remember...the theme seems to be mouth open in every picture...a fight...and a knock down...you be the judge

Look how cute

Ben, a ball and Barky the dog....OOOHHH

AHHHH give me Barky

You can't have Barky...AHHHH

AHHHH...Barky ruler of the universe

You Karate Do Done!!!

After 18 months...countless dollars (I'm afraid to add it up)...endless snacks...hundreds of miles...we are FINALLY all done with Karate. Don't get me wrong, it was a wonderful program and taught the boys some great life lessons...and if they really wanted to continue I would be there to support and take them. BUT, when our contract was up, they decided it was time to take a break...we may revisit it later...so for now...so long karate!

Here are some pictures of Ben as he got his black belt and graduated from his program

Sing your little heart out

The thrid grade put on a spring performance a couple of weeks ago. They sang all sorts of "spring" related songs...Ole Jack sang like there was no tomorrow...he really got into it. And good news...this is the first performance he hasn't gotten green or thrown up at! Our little guy is growing up and getting more comfortable on the stage.

The pictures are kinda dark...sorry

See Jack in the blue

I am singing...

No, he wasn't standing on an extra stair! He is 5 feet now-WOW!!

Playing the bells

LLLLAAAAA!

Grown up fun!

I recently got to do some fun stuff...I volunteered for our local school foundation and co-chaired the auction with a good friend Christina Olson...we raised over $45,000 in one night!! WOOHOO! After that fun gig I went down for a quick weekend in San Diego and saw my best buddy Jessica and got to go to her sister's baby shower. She had a baby boy named Ezra James last month. Just a couple of weeks ago I talked my friend Colette into going to a Nada Surf show with me down in Sacramento-GREAT show...even got to meet the lead singer!! I was starstuck and couldn't say much-oh, well!

Disneyland

The happiest place on earth...we went again during our winter break. Going this year really showed me how fast the boys are growing up...we spent most of our time on rollercoasters...no more baby rides for us...well, maybe just a few!!

Bon Jour!

Back in January Ed and Evelyn came up one weekend with their friends John and Brenda Hudd who were out visiting from France. We took them up to Tahoe one day for lunch and even showed them the way to spend a Sunday...watching football and trying to cheer your team to the superbowl...those darn Chargers...oh well, there is always next year!

Walking with Dinosaurs

In January NanaPapa met us in Sacramento to go check out "Walking with the Dinosaurs" show. Very cool, informative and LOUD!! They were life size and were done in such a way that they looked like they were truly walking around at Arco arena. If it comes to your neck of the woods and you have boys that like dinosaurs-I highly recommend it!

Hanging out with the grandparents

Check out our lights

See here is my really cool light thingy

A T-Rex fight...we weren't suppose to use our flash so it didn't come out so great

Very scary!!
