Sixty-Nine Dude!

I don't have any pictures of this one, but Mr. Beeman (you know Chris) is smoking hot on the golf course and just shot a 69 on Friday. He is gearing up for a California Golf Amateur event next week...keep your fingers crossed...he could be wearing a green jacket soon!!

Oh, did I mention that I am taking up the sport too??! Trying out a clinic with 15 other newbies and I am holding my own...I will keep you updated.

I spy....

a BOBCAT in my yard!!

The other evening the fellas were looking out the window when Ben screamed "There is a tiger in our yard!!" Luckily (or maybe not) it was only a bobcat who decided to take a stroll through the yard and hang out on a rock up in the cul-de-sac. It made me very nervous...gotta do some research on bobcats...I will let you know if we see him/her again.

It isn't that big...but trust me it was bigger than your average cat...plus we couldn't/wouldn't get the lense any closer.

It blends in pretty darn well with the surroundings...

Almost Famous

Two big events happened last Saturday.

One, Mr. Ben was on the local morning news show promoting his preschools's trike-a-thon with four of his buddies. They were riding around the studio having a good time when the anchor pulled Ben aside and told him to send it back to the studio...without hesitation he said "Back to you, Chris". He was a natural and, hey he looked good on camera too! Not that I am prejudice or anything!!

Taking a break...tv can be such hard work

ZOOMING around with buddies

The other big happening last weekend was the opening of Jack's baseball season. You know how bad the weather has been up here...still raining...don't get me started!! On a nice blustery day with scattered showers and a howling wind they had all the teams and supporters come out for the big "meet all the teams" event. The field was pure mud...papa almost froze to death in the stands and we all were ready to pack it in. Luckily Jack is on a farm team and they were introduced right after the tball teams...we quickly left. It would have been a fun event on a nice day...but who knows when we will get one of those!!

Looking for the go home sign

May the force be with you....

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

JACK BEEMAN was born! Well, maybe it wasn't that long ago...seven years to be exact and the galaxy was actually San Diego...but I was trying to be dramatic.

To celebrate this big event...you know you don't turn 7 every day, we had a BIG party. Jack chose the Star Wars theme and decide to invite ALL of his class (I know, I just can't say no) plus a couple of extra friends. We had a good time, people dressed up (including Chris and yours truly), played a lot of games and had one heck of a cake. I think next year we won't go to such galactic measures...I am just now recovering from the whole darn thing!!

The Beeman Clan...yes, I think we are a little bit wacky...did I mention that Chris and I picked up Jack and some of his friends from school dressed up like this??!!!

The homemade lightsaber cake...yes, I think we are a little bit wacky...did I mention it was 61 inches long (Jack measured!!)

A gaggle of kids on a treasure hunt

Princess Nana and Princess Leia...yes, I think we are a little bit wacky...did I mention that one of us has "fake" hair...can you guess who??

Jack and his underwear gift...yes, I think we are a little bit wacky...did I mention we get the wackiness from Nana and Papa who gave him the gift (along with a spending spree at the toy store...so it wasn't just underwear...in case you were worried!)
